Ok Minifly,
I did this to show you what happens if we try to load your image automaticly,.. Your size is 3264x2448 but look what happened when I use the insert image,.. ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------ A good size to use is 800 x 600 maximum,... how ever useing the DropBox link like this: (like you had it is ok), becuase it adjusts the size, the problem is useing the insert image option, that is exactly what it dose, it inserts the image, as it is,...so what I am trying to say is if you want to use the insert image option, you should make sure the image size is close to the same as the average screen size,...hope I am not just confuseing you ? Try your drop Box link,..and you will see it shows fine, (pretty big though ) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13815488/029.JPG from Garry |

which size of the did you take ? I used 429 X 369I think this is a good size ? Yours is 3264 X 2448 http://wittywittywhatisthat.freesmfhosting.com/index.php/topic,18.0.html see the above link from Garry P.S. The size is fine, when you use the DropBox link, but if you want to use the insert image option, the size should be not bigger the 800 x 600 (aprox) but don't get me wrong , the way you posted it the first time is fine,..I am just trying to explain some other ways to do it.... from Garry |

Hello, visitor, and all,
Please note to have full priviliges, and be able to use the Gallery, and some other things, like modify your own profile, edit your posts, etc, you still need to register, the visitor option is just so if you have any questions, before actually joing , you can post them, preferably here. Thanks from Garry (admin) |

If you do it this way, also the user dose not see the code:
Code: [img]http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n566/GarryRicketson/ghost2.gif [/img] ----------------------------------------------Here is the image: ![]() Note That it shows automatcly, no need to gp to a outside link.(allthough it actually still is linking to photobucket.com For images the same applys to dropbox.com too,...Files need the link,... Hope this helps someone,.. From Garry P.S. Also up on the top,of the main forum, look for where it says Gallery, this is the best option, for displaying images and photos,... this is the link to "Gallery" http://wittywittywhatisthat.freesmfhosting.com/index.php?action=gallery |

If you are have trouble doing this, useing the insert code icon above, the one with #, Show the html link code you are useing, so I can see what is wrong,
If you just type it in, ok well if it dosenot work I guess it won't matter, but it is better in the "code" window, so it can not cause a "bad " link,... example, Code: [IMG]http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n566/GarryRicketson/ghost2.gif[/IMG] if I had placed this code in the text of this post it would automaticly display the image. The "brackets", must be [ ] not ( ) You can use the "insert image" button, in the tool bar of the editor,..it looks like this:![]() If you just type in the URL of the image, like this: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n566/GarryRicketson/ghost2.gif It works as a link, and must be "clicked" to see the image,...so the user goes to the other site and views it. In my reply , I will show the difference, useing the insert image code. |
