EGmono,
Thanks on this, and it looks like a good stie for more info too (the link),
I guess I should have mentioned it, Well actually it is in the html code, but just to give credit where it is due, Yanki Kiwi, did the script, so it is not really my idea,..
It was cause, on my first web site, http://www.garryspages.webs.com
It got real "cotroversial",...some people liked the colors, others said for reasons of color blindness,..they couldn't read it well, others just did not like the colors,. so it occured to me a good solution, would be to offer the reader the option,to switch to just plain Black and white,..scheme,...if that is what they want,...
Now on my new site, I have not yet used this, but it will be a good oppurtunity to try yours too,...thanks
from Garry

I gave up on a programming career a long time ago. Now I just toy with code for fun!

I would say that at every level there will be concepts that really throw you off but not to be discouraged because there will be a different way that will be successful. Also don't stop asking questions, everybody had to start off somewhere.

I prefer to keep everything organized and not bury style settings within javascript functions so I took your idea and rewrote it to switch style classes. All styles stay together, and javascript functions are much shorter.

An even better example:

Also welcome to the forum,..

Actually what I was asking, is what people prefer, the entire URL written out,..
or just a higlighted/color "clickable" word or words.

Hey Garry!

Both "TRY THIS LINK" and the "http://..." links both lead to the same place, different browsers show them differently. For example on the browser on my phone when I told it I wanted to open the link in a new window it used the url as a title for the dialog box "Open in new window?" Same url for both links, so same title. Some browsers show the link url in the status bar at the bottom when you mouseover it, others won't.

Quality websites create a positive impression on the visitors.  Such websites get a higher amount of traffic and online business. These websites manage to create a very good initial impression with the help of appealing and user-friendly web designs. The time that you get to leave this impression is just a few seconds.

Those who are not an expert in web designing can approach a web design firm to get the needed web designing service
Michael, Note, I recently saw this question at yahoo answers, so I posted a link, to this post,..
Question at Yahoo

May I respectfully suggest that you and your daughter collaborate on a book, your life story.  Illustrated by you.
Thats a idea, she had written a short "story", partly about her, and more about her grand mother, it is pretty well written.( however I have not asked her if I could post it public,I think it is more a "personal story, so I have not asked)
About my daughter, is a long story too,..But now she is very busy, as a music teacher (piano),. She had been teaching kinder garden classes,
The same goes, writeing a story about us, I imagen she is to busy,..she did tell me once she is working on something, so who knows,..maybe one day we both will put something together.
Guess thats about it for now,
